THE PROCESS
 

We Talk
Every commission begins with a conversation about your space, the feeling you want to create, and the colours already living in your home. Share photos if you have them. No brief is too vague — that's part of the process.

I Propose
I'll come back with a recommended size, colour direction, and quote. We refine things together until it feels right. A 50% deposit confirms your commission and secures your place in my schedule.

I Paint
You'll receive progress updates along the way, including photos as the piece evolves. This is collaborative - your input is always welcome. 

It Arrives Home
Once the balance is received, your painting is carefully packaged and shipped or arranged for pickup, ready to hang. 
 

INVESTMENT

Commissions are priced by size, with a custom premium that reflects the time, collaboration, and care that goes into creating a one-of-a-kind work.
Pricing typically ranges from $500 CAD for smaller works to $2,500+ for large-scale or multi-panel pieces. Every quote is tailored to the project — get in touch and I'll provide a clear, honest estimate. 
 

Interior Designers: Trade pricing is available. Please mention your studio when you reach out.
 

TIMELINE

Most commissions are completed within 2 to 6 weeks from deposit. If you're working towards a specific date — a housewarming, opening, birthday, or installation deadline — let me know upfront and I'll tell you honestly whether I can accommodate it.
 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I commission a specific subject or scene?
Yes. Whether you want something inspired by a particular landscape, season, or mood, I can work within that direction. Abstract doesn't mean random — every piece is created with intention.

What if I don't love the direction it's going?
That's exactly why I share progress updates. I'd much rather pause and refine the direction than deliver something that doesn't feel right. Communication is an important part of the process.

Can I commission a piece as a gift?
Absolutely. I can coordinate delivery timing and include a handwritten note, if requested.
