ABOUT

Hi! I’m Lisa — the artist behind the work you’ll find here.
My work explores the emotional experience of a place — from the stillness of a shoreline to the rush of a skier carving down a mountain. I’m drawn to the small, often-overlooked details like the ridges of weathered bark, the way light breaks apart on moving water, or how shadows stretch across snow.
Originally from Australia, I now call Canada home. Our surroundings shape how we experience the world, and I paint both — the beaches I grew up with, and the mountains and lakes that surround me now.
Through vibrant colour and layered texture, each piece aims to hold what a photo can't — the feeling of actually being there. Something to stay with you, long after the moment has passed.
If a piece speaks to you or you’d like to commission something inspired by a place, memory, or feeling, I’d love to hear from you.
